Success Stories

Set Back Issues

Farmers in Suryamati, Bidur are facing irrigation issues as hill side running water source is very far from the production site and the near by Tadi River is right below the field area.

Solutions for Irrigation in Suryamati, Bidur area farmers

solarwaterpumpiisolarwaterpump
Water supply from Deep wells to a height raised collection tank for drip system irrigation (not necessary for conventional way) with the use of water pumps/motors is suggested as this solutions comes more cheaper to their other counter parts. Availability of Electricity is major factor in choosing the solution. However, Solar water pumps with deep well could also be chosen for long run (needs to be done by group of farmers due to initial high cost factors but zero operational cost and low maintenance cost)
